You can't time without knowing who has entered and you needed someway to manage your races. But timing was just the tip of the iceberg. With smartphones now being essential items in daily life, Matt thought it would be a good idea to be able to have races timed through a mobile device. With his background in software development, he felt there had to be a better way. Either, contracting out race entry and timing to expensive apps and services, or using dated desktop based results processing with manual timing.
As a keen runner our founder Matt identified that local running races were using one of two approaches when it came to online entry and race timing.
